Where I am now
I’m now pursuing my Master’s in Computer Science at San José State University, continuing to deepen my technical skills and focusing on building scalable, well-designed software systems.
I’m actively seeking a Software Engineering internship for Summer 2027 while I keep learning new technologies and building things I’m proud of.

Joining a startup
After graduating, I joined Curiosities, an AI ed-tech startup building ACE, a curiosity-driven learning app for kids ages 5–12 guided by an octopus mascot named Ace. As an App Development Intern, I got my first experience building product inside a small, fast-moving team.
It was a shift from academic projects to a real product with real users, and it shaped how I think about building software that has to hold up outside a classroom.
Capstone · E. & J. Gallo Winery

From classroom to industry
My senior capstone paired me with E. & J. Gallo Winery to replace a paper-based sanitation tracking system with a centralized web application. Working as a backend developer and data engineer on a small team gave me my first real taste of building software for an organization outside the classroom, with real users and real constraints.
It’s also where I first designed a system’s architecture end to end, from the facility-to-production-line data hierarchy to an AI-powered admin assistant built on AWS Bedrock.

Building the foundation
I began my academic journey at the University of California, Merced, where I studied Computer Science and built a strong foundation in core areas such as algorithms, data structures, and software engineering.
Alongside my coursework, I developed interests in web development, machine learning, and natural language processing through hackathons and independent research, and picked up hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling along the way.
